MIUI V6 Global Beta Build For Redmi 1S.


For users who very waiting for MIUI V6 on their devices. Have not to wait more because Xiaomi has launched its MIUI V6 beta build for Redmi 1s.

ABOUT ROM.(MUST READ BEFORE FLASHING ROM)

1.Its a Beta Build made for testing and will recieve update after every 1-2 weeks until all bugs are fixed.

2.Rom will become more stable after every update.

3.I am using it on my device from about 2 months and its working fine but the condition is that you have to install updates as soon as possible for smooth functioning of Rom.

4.Updating Rom Will Not Erase Your Data but you can backup for precaution.

5. Rom has excellent fell and features of both Miui as well as Kitkat.

6. Rom has excellent inbuilt music manager and file explorer.


Few Known Bugs..
1.Sometimes,Battery Drops after reboot.
2.Sometimes Rom has problem in catching network after boots.
For flashing your device must be rooted and custom recovery must be installed.

Flashing Instructions.

Use Twrp For Flashing This Rom(Recommended)

1. Store the downloaded ROM.zip onto your SD card.( don't unzip the ROM).
2.Now boot your device into recovery.
     See how to boot into recovery here.

FOR CWM.

Backup your stock ROM.
Go to backup and restore
Click on backup.
A. Go to wipe data/factory reset.
B. Go to advanced wipe dalvik cache.
C. Now wipe cache partition.
D. Go to mounts and storage format everything except USB storage and SD card.
E. Now click on install zip.
F. Now navigate to the folder where u have stored the custom rom.
G. Wait for ROM to install.
Now don't reboot

First wipe dalvik cache and wipe cache partition.
First and second boot may take more time than usual so don't panic

For TWRP.

Backup your stock ROM.
Go to backup and restore
Swipe to backup.
1. Factory reset your device through TWRP.
2. Go to install zip.
3. Navigate to the folder where u have stored custom rom.
4. Wait for ROM to install.
5. Wipe cache.
6. Reboot into system.
First and second boot may take more time than usual so don't panic
